DBA General Meeting - DATE CHANGE!!

The DBA General Meeting is being
held at Wheatfields, Tuesday, March 16,
2010 at 6:30 PM.
We need your input and
opinions for the future of the DBA.
The DBA Board of Directors has been
very busy at work to be sure that we are addressing
your needs and concerns. To that end
we have immersed ourselves in a formal Strategic
Planning review process.
Tuesday, February 9, the DBA board
met for a three hour retreat,
Friday, February
12 for another two hours and again Monday,
March 8 for two hours.
The board is defining the DBA’s values,
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities,
threats and ultimately how to plan and deploy a
plan to make us serve our membership the best
we can.
Our March General Meeting
(Tuesday, March 16, 6:30) will be devoted
to this subject, asking for your suggestions,
ideas and thoughts. We have an extremely
talented and creative group of members
and we want to hear from you.
Mark Baker, Executive Director of the City
Center is our guest speaker. Mark is a multiple
term DBA president, with 26 years as a partner
downtown. He will be talking about DBA issues
as well as the expansion of the City Center
and hopes for the future.
Elections are held at this meeting for
the slate of board members. Ballots are handed
out at the sign-in table, and no nominations are
taken from the floor.
